In Brazil, cases of violence against women have increased by 22% in 2024. One in three of these cases occurs at home.  The cycle of abuse is a sad reality where women find themselves trapped and unable to report. Despite the rise in cases, there has not been a significant increase in police stations focused on violence against women. To break this cycle, women need to feel safe to report it and seek help.
